By Manila Times - 8 months ago

MANILA, Philippines: Former ABS-CBN resident astrologer Zenaida Seva has died, her friend and book author Jessica Zafra said.

"I just got a text from Zenaida Seva's phone informing me that she has died," Zafra wrote in an Instagram story on Thursday. "Zenaida was my wise friend and movie buddy in the 1990s and the early 2000s. We would watch the last full show then have a meal to discuss it. She was a true eccentric and she never apologized for it."

"I am on the fence about astrology, but let me tell you: Zenaida was always right. She taught me that everything was connected," she added.

Zafra told Seva's viewers to take a moment to remember the late astrologer.

In accordance with her wishes, Seva's remains were cremated and the wake would be held at Chapel C of Christ the King Parish Mortuary Chapels in Greenmeadows, Quezon City.

While working for ABS-CBN, Seva was a mainstay in the network's morning show Umagang Kay Ganda and had a segment on astrology. In the 1980s, she also wrote a column for the tabloid Tempo under the name Karma Karissima.
