Manila, Philippines: The Philippines and South Korea will take to the skies to celebrate 75 years of diplomatic relations.
The Philippine Air Force and the Republic of Korea Air Force will, beginning today, hold a two-day air show in Clark Air Base in Pampanga.
"The highlight of the event will be the awe-inspiring aerial display by the renowned Black Eagles aerobatic team from South Korea. They will showcase their breathtaking skills and precision with captivating maneuvers throughout the three-day event," Philippine Air Force chief for Public Affairs Col. Ma Consuelo Castillo said.
Filipino Air Force pilots and their Korean counterparts will show off their maneuvers and aerial capabilities during the special Friendship Flight to be attended by Defense Secretary Gilberto C. Teodoro Jr.
Castillo said the event is a testament to the strong bond between the Philippines and South Korea, showcasing their shared commitment to air power excellence as they celebrate 75 years of diplomatic relations.
