MANILA, Philippines: Adamson bounced back with a hard-earned 25-22, 25-22, 28-26 sweep of UP in the UAAP Season 86 women's volleyball tournament at the Mall of Asia Arena on Saturday, February 24.

Ishie Lalongisip fired 12 points, logged 16 excellent digs, and tallied seven excellent receptions to lead the Lady Falcons who improved to 1-1.

The win was also Adamson head coach JP Yude's first in the women's division after having coached the girls team for years.

Mayang Nuique came through with 10 points as AA Adolfo chipped in nine markers.

Niña Ytang racked up 18 points to pace the Fighting Maroons who dropped to 0-2.
