MALOLOS City Mayor Christian Natividad led the inauguration and blessing of the newly constructed two-story building of Mojon Elementary School at Barangay Mojon on Friday, January 26.
The mayor said the building was funded by the city government of Malolos for more than P14 million.
Natividad said the facility will be used by the 452 students from kinder to Grade 6.
The old school building, located at Menzy Land Subdivision, only has four classrooms that accommodate the students through a daily shifting schedule.
Joining Natividad during the blessing and inauguration were Barangay Mojon chief Michael Adriano, Schools Division Office superintendent Leilani Cunanan and school head Dulce Camaya.
Natividad, meanwhile, said the city government will allot P17 million for the construction of the school's 3-story expansion building which will begin this year with the collaboration of the members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod.
