UNIVERSITY of Makati (UMak) has partnered with four sports organizations to strengthen its sports and athletes development programs.
UMak, on Friday, January 26, has entered into an agreement with Deportivo Manila Football Club Association, through Davao Aguilas, for men's football; Azzuri Sports Club for women's football; Philippine Floorball Clubs Association; and 360 Philippines Sports Inc., the operating partner of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) for the Philippines.
The memorandum of agreement was signed by UMak president Elyxzur Ramos and countersigned by Mike Atayde for Deportivo and Davao Aguilas, Ramon Jose Almeda for Azzuri, Ralph Andrew Ramos for floorball, and Richard Tee for 360 FCA.
"I hope that this simple partnership that we have here, the students whose lives you have touched here will really develop to become persons of character and also to become the best versions, best athletes, that they can be," the UMak president said.
"I also hope that they can represent the country in international competitions and bring pride to our country, our city and our school."
Dominador Lera, UMak's director for Center of Athletic Development, and Gil Tabbu, UMak's vice president for Student Services and Community Development, witnessed the signing.
