MANILA, Philippines: Digital wallet provider GCash said that all of its services are back to normal, after a brief outage experienced by some of its users.
"All GCash services are now fully operational," GCash said in a statement.
"Thank you for your patience and understanding and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused," it said.
Early Thursday morning, GCash issued a statement admitting that some of its users experienced problems or difficulties in accessing some of its services.
But the Ayala-led fintech assured its customers on its social media page that their funds were "safe."
The outage was reported on the website downdetector.com, which noted a spike at about 10 a.m. in the number of GCash users who said that they could not access the app or some of its services.
GCash also experienced outages in 2023.
