MANILA, Philippines: Former vice president Ma. Leonor "Leni" Robredo attended the Sundance Film Festival entry, "And So It Begins," which focused on her 2022 presidential campaign.
The movie was shown at the Ray Theater in Park City, Utah, United States to a packed audience.

Robredo congratulated filmmaker Ramona Diaz and the rest of the crew for a "job well done."
"I could not imagine how difficult it must have been to sift through 800 hours of footage to compress it to 113 minutes," she wrote. "The campaign was made [amidst] the backdrop of how disinformation progressed in the Philippines and how it played a huge role in the outcome of the 2022 presidential elections."
Robredo said the movie will be brought to several countries around the world and hopes for it to be shown in the Philippines in April.
She was also a speaker on Sunday's Sunrise Collective event on the festival's sidelines.
