At least 82 people have been killed and 156 injured in three days of sectarian gunfights in Pakistan's northwestern Kurram district. The violence erupted on Thursday when two Shiite Muslim convoys were ambushed, leading to retaliatory clashes. Local authorities are working to broker a ceasefire between the Sunni and Shia communities.
