SpaceX, owned by Elon Musk started a partnership with T-Mobile with the aim of deploying the direct-to-cell service of Starlink for the victims of Hurricane Milton. Already over 10,000 satellite kits have been provided without any charge to ensure essential capabilities of texting and emergency alerts for the affected people of Florida.
