China puts provisional tariffs on European brandy after EU OKs duties on Chinese EVs

Chinese consumers will face higher prices on European brandies like Remy Martin due to new provisional tariffs of 30.6% to 39%. This move follows EU's approval of duties on Chinese electric vehicles. The tariffs aim to leverage negotiations with the EU to reduce or eliminate tariffs on Chinese EVs taking effect soon.
