Developing economies in Asia are projected to grow at a 5 per cent annual rate this year, driven by strong US economic performance and rising demand for AI-powered computer chips, according to the Asian Development Bank. The forecast was slightly revised from April's estimate of 4.9 per cent growth. However, potential US protectionist measures and China's property market issues pose risks.
