In a sophisticated remote attack, pagers used by Hezbollah members exploded simultaneously in Lebanon and Syria, killing at least 12 people and wounding thousands. The U.S. was briefed by Israel on the operation. Investigators suspect supply-chain interference with small explosive devices built into the pagers, which were remotely triggered.
