Alaska CEO sees 'significant improvement' at Boeing after door plug incident

Alaska Airlines CEO Ben Minicucci noted significant improvements at Boeing after a door plug issue on a 737 MAX 9 jet. The airline, receiving its 12th plane from Boeing in 2024, has increased oversight and audits. Minicucci also mentioned that the 737 MAX 10 is not expected until mid-2026 due to pending FAA certification.
