Disney, DirecTV reach deal that restores programming to 11 million satellite US TV subscribers

Walt Disney and DirecTV have reached an agreement, restoring access to ABC, ESPN, and other Disney-owned networks for over 11 million subscribers. The deal includes genre-specific programming packages and Disney's streaming services. This resolution comes just in time for the Emmy Awards broadcast on ABC.
