Israel rescues hostage from underground tunnel in Gaza

By Economic Times - 3 months ago
Israel conducted a successful rescue operation in Gaza, freeing Qaid Farhan Alkadi, one of the hostages abducted by Hamas in October. Alkadi was the first to be rescued from an underground tunnel after 326 days in captivity. The operation brought relief to Israelis but highlighted the plight of other hostages. Efforts continue to secure their release amid ongoing conflict and negotiations for a cease-fire.
