Israel economy ekes out 1.2% growth in Q2 amid war with Hamas

In the second quarter of 2024, Israel's economy grew by an annualized 1.2%, missing market expectations. The growth was led by increased consumer and government spending but was offset by a significant drop in exports. The ongoing war in Gaza since October has played a substantial role in the economic volatility.
