China's Civil Affairs University launched an undergraduate marriage program to boost the marriage industry and culture, as marriage and birth rates fall. Starting in September, it will train students in areas like family counseling and wedding planning. Though there was a recent rise in new marriages, it was mostly due to postponed weddings from the pandemic.
