Heavy rains from Tropical Storm Gaemi in southeastern China have caused seven deaths and left three missing in Hunan province, raising the overall death toll to 22. Extensive rainfalls led to mudslides, damaged homes, and forced the evacuation of more than 11,000 people. River dikes in Xiangtan were breached, prompting evacuations.
