France's economy grew by 0.3 percent in the second quarter, surpassing the INSEE institute's initial forecast of 0.1 percent. The growth was driven by strong foreign trade and a rebound in corporate investment. Domestic demand also contributed modestly, while household spending remained steady. INSEE also revised its first-quarter growth estimate to 0.3 percent from 0.2 percent.
