Bangladeshi students have called for fresh street protests on Monday after Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's government failed to meet their ultimatum for releasing detained leaders and apologizing for recent violence. The unrest, sparked by protests against civil service job quotas, resulted in over 205 deaths. The government responded by deploying troops, imposing curfews, and shutting down the internet. Student leaders demand the release of their detained peers, an apology from Hasina, ministerial dismissals, and the reopening of schools. With around 9,000 arrests and a restored mobile network, the situation remains tense.
