Venezuela's President Nicolas Maduro has been re-elected to a third term, despite facing accusations of authoritarianism and relying on state-sponsored propaganda. Maduro won 51.2 percent of votes to 44.2 percent for opposition rival Edmundo Gonzalez Urrutia in the CNE electoral body. Despite being deeply unpopular after years of economic crisis, Maduro won another six-year term in fraught elections.
