K P Sharma Oli, aged 72, has been appointed as Nepal's Prime Minister for the third time to lead a new coalition government, taking over from Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda following a vote of no confidence in the House of Representatives. Oli secured the position with the support of the Communist Party of Nepal-Unified Marxist Leninist (CPN-UML) and Nepali Congress (NC) coalition, and is set to be sworn in with his new Cabinet on Monday.
