Retired Pakistan army Brigadier Amir Hamza, known for ISIS-planned attacks against India, was killed by unknown gunmen in Jhelum district. He was the alleged mastermind of the 2018 Sunjwan Army camp attack where six jawans were killed and 12 injured. Hamza was ambushed in his car by four men on motorcycles. His wife and daughter were also injured. Police investigated the killing as a 'blind murder case.'
