Three British opinion polls released late on Saturday painted a challenging picture for Prime Minister Rishi Sunak's Conservative Party ahead of the July 4 election. One pollster warned of potential "electoral extinction" for the Conservatives. The polls, conducted after both the Conservatives and Labour presented their manifestos, showed Labour leading significantly. Savanta's poll for the Sunday Telegraph gave Labour a 25-point lead over the Conservatives. Survation's poll for the Sunday Times predicted the Conservatives could end up with only 72 seats in the House of Commons, their lowest in history.
