By Economic Times - 7 months ago
A massive fire broke out at Copenhagen's historic former stock exchange building on Tuesday, causing the landmark spire, undergoing renovation, to collapse. The 17th-century Borsen building, commissioned by King Christian IV and built between 1619 and 1640, housed the stock exchange until the 1970s and currently serves as the Danish Chamber of Commerce headquarters.
