A married woman and her alleged lover were killed by her husband and brothers in a suspected honor killing in Peshawar, Pakistan. The incident, which took place in Shaikh Muhammadi village, left the woman's five children orphaned. The perpetrators, including the woman's husband and brothers, fled the scene. The police have launched an investigation and are attempting to apprehend the suspects. Honor killings remain a serious issue in Pakistan, with around 1,000 women killed annually in such incidents.
