Former President Donald Trump is facing challenges in obtaining a bond to appeal a $454 million judgment against him in a New York civil fraud case. His lawyers revealed that he has been unable to secure a bond that would allow him to appeal without posting the full amount himself. Trump must either find the cash or post a bond to prevent the state from seizing his properties while he appeals the decision. His lawyers have approached 30 surety companies through four brokers to obtain a bond, but have not been successful so far.
