The Odisha government disbursed the third phase of the first instalment of Rs 5,000 each to over 20 lakh women under the Subhadra Yojana on November 24, 2024. This scheme aims to empower women financially. Over 80 lakh women have benefited so far. Chief Minister Mohan Majhi also inaugurated various development projects in Sundargarh district.
