The Indian government has recommended 228 infrastructure projects worth ₹15.89 lakh crore for approval under the PM GatiShakti initiative. Reviewed by the Network Planning Group (NPG), these projects, primarily roads and railways, aim to reduce logistics costs and boost multi-modal connectivity. The initiative leverages a national master plan with extensive geospatial data for integrated planning and faster approvals.
