Home-cooked meals became pricier last month, with vegetarian thalis seeing a 20% surge due to soaring vegetable and cooking oil costs, according to a Crisil report. While fuel costs provided some relief, vegetable price hikes, particularly for tomatoes, onions, and potatoes, were driven by heavy rainfall and supply chain disruptions.
