Family pension rules: The Department of Pension has announced an amendment to the Central Civil Services (Pension) Rules, 2021, and Rule 50 of the Central Civil Services (Pension) Rules, 2021, which pertains to the disbursement of family pension in the event of a government pensioner's demise in relation to the entitlement of family pension for the second wife while the first wife is still alive.
