India palm oil output to triple in 6 years as farmers plant more, says Agrovet exec

India's palm oil production is set to triple by 2030-31 as the area under cultivation expands and plantations mature. This increase will reduce India's reliance on imports from Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand. Government incentives since 2021 have boosted planting, with Godrej Agrovet expecting its production to double by the same period.
