Banks in some states will be closed on Thursday on the occasion of Ramzan-Id (Id-Ul-Fitr), according to the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) holiday list. The RBI has catergorised bank holidays into three distinct categories: Negotiable Instruments Act Holidays, Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGS) Holidays, and Bank Account Closing Holidays.
