India is bracing for extreme heat from April to June, particularly in central and western regions, according to IMD Director General Mrutyunjay Mohapatra. While no heatwave warning exists for wheat-producing states except Madhya Pradesh, temperatures rising to 42 degrees Celsius are expected there next week.
