India's Union Minister Pralhad Joshi has called upon industry leaders to help the country achieve its goal of 500 GW of renewable energy capacity by 2030. Joshi emphasized the importance of collaboration and innovation in reaching this ambitious target. India has already achieved 212 GW from non-fossil fuel sources.
