Chinese EV giant BYD surpasses Tesla in quarterly revenue for the first time, reporting 201.1 billion yuan ($28.2 billion) in Q3, a 24% increase year-on-year. BYD’s net profit rose 11.5% to 11.6 billion yuan ($1.6 billion), while Tesla reported $25.2 billion in revenue and $2.2 billion profit.
