IndiGo CEO Elbers says aircraft grounding crisis has peaked

By Economic Times - 4 weeks ago
IndiGo’s CEO Pieter Elbers announced that the airline is recovering from its aircraft-grounding issues and domestic air travel demand is rising. The number of grounded planes due to engine issues is expected to drop below 50 by March 2025. Despite a recent unexpected loss due to higher fuel and maintenance costs, Elbers anticipates a positive peak travel season.
