Air India gets DGCA nod to modify aircraft interiors in-house

Air India, owned by Tata, has received DGCA approval to modify aircraft interiors in-house, becoming the first Indian airline to achieve this. This enhances its ability to update its fleet amid a $400 million refurbishment of 67 older aircraft. The initiative aims to meet growing demand for premium in-flight options.
