Airbus plans to expand its workforce in India to over 5,000 employees and double its sourcing of services and components to USD 2 billion. The company's initiatives include new pilot training centres, a 5,000-seater campus in Bengaluru, and manufacturing partnerships with Tata Group for C295 aircraft and H125 helicopters.
