Indian airlines to operate 5% more flights this winter

Indian carriers will deploy only 5% more capacity this winter despite expected passenger demand growth. Reduced capacity by SpiceJet and supply chain issues affecting new aircraft deliveries are the main reasons. While some carriers like Air India Express plan significant increases, overall growth remains muted and realistic.
