Quick commerce companies may face action for not giving expiry date

The Indian government plans to crack down on quick commerce companies like Zomato's Blinkit and Swiggy Instamart for not displaying mandatory expiry dates on their platforms. The move follows multiple consumer complaints received through the National Consumer Helpline. Flipkart Minutes currently complies with this requirement.
