Kolkata Airport welcomed the Airbus Beluga XL, the largest in its series, for the first time. The aircraft, which landed from Bahrain, is transporting essential aircraft components to Tianjin, China. Kolkata airport is the only suitable stop in Eastern India for refueling and crew rest, accommodating the oversized cargo.
