Torrent Power has been awarded a 40-year contract by MSEDCL to supply 2,000 MW energy storage from a pumped hydro storage plant in Maharashtra. This includes an additional 500 MW on top of a previous award. The company is investing in various renewable energy projects, including pumped storage, green hydrogen, and green ammonia production.
