India's domestic air passenger traffic is expected to reach 300 million by 2030. Around USD 11 billion is being invested in airport development. India plans to develop around 200 more airports in the next 20-25 years. Currently, there are 157 operational airports. The number is expected to reach 200 by the end of 2025.
