Hindustan Zinc, a Vedanta group firm, reported a two percent rise in mined metal production to 2,56,000 tonnes in Q2 this fiscal year. Refined metal production increased to 2,62,000 tonnes. Zinc production reached 1,98,000 tonnes, a seven percent rise. Lead production rose 12 percent. Saleable silver production increased to 5.9 million ounces. Wind power generation declined by 18 percent.
