Tata Electronics has finalised an agreement with Taiwan's Powerchip Semiconductor Manufacturing Corporation to build India's first AI-enabled semiconductor Fab in Gujarat. The facility will produce up to 50,000 wafers per month, creating over 20,000 jobs and addressing growing chip demand in various markets including AI and automotive.
