Asus, a Taiwanese IT hardware maker, plans to enter the Indian government contract market for laptops and PCs by 2025. The company aims to meet local value addition criteria and has partnered with Dixon Technologies for local manufacturing. Asus is also exploring sourcing components locally to reduce production costs.
