Torrent Pharmaceuticals has denied claims that its popular product Shelcal 500 failed a quality test by the Central Drug Standards Control Organisation (CDSCO). The company asserts that the sample tested was counterfeit and not manufactured by them. Torrent has implemented QR codes to verify authenticity and submitted a formal response to CDSCO.
