The government is considering recommendations to promote transition finance for high carbon-emitting industries. A proposed fund by state-run financial institutions aims to help smaller companies scale up green operations with lower-cost credit. The government will develop a taxonomy for climate finance within seven to ten months, as announced in the budget.
