JSW MG Motor India has introduced a Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) model for its electric vehicles, allowing customers to purchase EVs at lower prices but with a running cost. The Comet EV is now available for Rs 4.99 lakh under this model, making it the cheapest EV in India. Customers will pay Rs 2.5 per km for battery usage.
